Entertaiment is a broad category of activities that involve amusement and enjoyment. It encompasses many forms of entertainment, from playing a game to viewing a film. According to Oliver and Barstsch (2010), entertainment can be defined as an objective activity that involves communication between text and audience, is influenced by external stimulus, offers pleasure, requires an audience and occurs in a passive form. It is also a dynamic concept that has the potential to be continuously remixed and reused, creating new meanings within familiar genres and images.
