Article about Entertaiment:
A pleasing occupation of the mind; diversion or amusement. Getting caught up in solving a crossword puzzle, for example, is entertainment for many. Entertainment can take any form and can be adapted to any scale: from private entertainment chosen from an enormous array of pre-recorded products; to a banquet suited to two; to performances intended for thousands or even the whole world.
Even the simplest activities can become entertainment, as when a necessary skill, such as archery or fencing, is developed into a professional sport and broadcast as global competitions for the benefit of a worldwide audience. Or when a story, such as the Scheherazade tale from professional Persian storytelling tradition, is retold in a range of media, from orchestral music by Rimsky-Korsakov and Ravel to films by Pasolini and innovative video games.
