Entertaiment is a word from the Middle Latin intertenere, which means “to hold inside.” The word has evolved and can be adapted to any scale: an individual choosing personal entertainment from an ever-expanding array of pre-recorded products; a banquet suited for two people; a party that can accommodate any number of guests; or performances intended for thousands or even more.
